2018 Teen Summer Reading Program

Beginning Monday, June 25, students in Grades 6-12 can sign up for our Summer Reading Program and earn free prizes for reading during summer break!  Come to the library to sign up starting June 25, or register online.  Participate in our Book Face Challenge, complete reading logs and attend weekly events to earn entries in our Grand Prize Drawing!

Summer Reading Events

Mondays at 6:00 pm

  • July 2 – Concert Poster Competition – Work with a team to design a concert poster using your favorite book characters.
  • July 9 – Outdoor Field Day – Join us for sports, games, relay races, and more! Remember to wear sneakers!
  • July 16 – Karaoke/Cookie Decorating – Channel your inner rock star and then create an edible masterpiece before you leave.
  • July 23 – Murder Mystery – Do you have what it takes to solve the mystery? 
  • July 30 – Craft/Movie Night – Decorate sheet music and color artwork while watching a film. No shushing during this movie!
  • August 6 – Program Finale – Pizza Party, Jeopardy, and Prize Drawings!
Come to any or all events and enjoy snacks, crafts, karaoke, free books, and more! At our final meeting on August 6, we will draw the winner of our Grand Prize of a $50 gift card, and 2 runner up prizes of a $20 gift card.
