Public Computer Use:

Who is Eligible? Patrons with a valid Phillipsburg Library card may use public computers for a total of five hours per day. Residents of Phillipsburg may apply for one at the library.

Visitors outside of the library’s service area may use computers as a guest for a total of two hours per day.
Time Limits Computers sessions in the adult reference area are one hour. Computer sessions in the children's room are half an hour.  If no one is waiting, you may extend your session by 15-minute increments.  If there is a waiting list, the system will not allow extensions. Plan to save to a flash drive  before your time runs out.
Printing Cost for black & white printouts are 10 cents, color printouts 15 cents. Use print-preview at your computer and/or at the self-service station to view your job before releasing it. No refunds can be given once your job is released.
Flash Drives and Disks If you need to save your work, bring a flash drive.  Files saved to library computers are erased nightly and cannot be retrieved.
Headphones You may use your personal headphones in any computer. If you do not have headphones, you may borrow a set with your library card, or purchase a set for $1.00.
Assistance Do not hesitate to ask our staff for assistance.  We are happy to help with printing, job applications,  document formatting or whatever you need.
